From his education at the University of Houston College of Optometry and service as a U.S. Army optometrist to decades of private and institutional practice, Dr. Click’s career has encompassed an unusually broad range of eye care. The most rewarding part of that career has been the people. Generations of patients have entrusted him with their vision, and many of those professional relationships have become lasting friendships. Those experiences have reinforced a simple philosophy: thorough examination and personal attention never go out of date. His professional activities have also included serving as a continuing education speaker at conventions of both the New Mexico Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. He often recalls the advice of his beloved grandmother, Cora Click: “Tell people the truth, and you don’t have to remember what you said.”
